About The Flower Lady
Hello! I’m Bethany, the owner and designer behind The Flower Lady. As an Eastern Kentucky native with a passion for weddings, floral design, and agriculture, I began working in the wedding industry in 2017. I quickly fell in love with helping brides prepare for their wedding days and creating floral arrangements that reflected each couple’s unique style and story. In January 2020, I officially launched The Flower Lady after seeing a need for wedding floral design services in the Eastern Kentucky region.
Since starting The Flower Lady, I have been blessed to serve more than 500 brides across Kentucky and beyond. Along the way, The Flower Lady was honored as the winner of the Invest 606 Business Contest in 2023 and I was named Young Entrepreneur of the Year for the Gateway and Buffalo Trace Regions in 2024. My work has also been featured in multiple editions of Kentucky Bride Magazine, including the Spring 2023 issue, the Fall 2023 editorial shoot, and both the Spring and Fall 2024 issues.
Creating wedding florals is truly my dream job. I love helping couples bring their vision to life and designing arrangements that make their day feel personal, beautiful, and unforgettable. It is one of the greatest joys of my life to walk alongside brides during such a meaningful season and help create weddings that they will remember forever.
